Vector illustration samples - set 8

These and many more are of course available for download on the sites I contribute to. If you need any variations or customizations, feel free to contact me directly.

Vector illustration samples - set 7

This time around the samples are posted in smaller size. After some thought I decided the bigger versions were just ruining the blog layout and not contributing to what they were meant for whatsoever.

These and many more are of course available for download on the sites I contribute to. If you need any variations or customizations, feel free to contact me directly.

Front page featured works and the likes

Throwing in a couple of samples of front page featured works of mine popping up on some sites "around the globe". The first is from a very friendly microstock site called Zymmetrical that I hope will get the attention it deserves in the months ahead of us in the microstock industry, the second again from a social network/macrostock selling portal called Mostphotos (this one I'm pretty proud of since the featured pictures catch first page exposition by user ratings calculations) and the third a semi-featured "statistical" entries from 123RF found on the best selling page (lately many simple vector design elements have been raising to the top at 123RF, this one is a sample).

As my achievements showcase is missing (and will hopefully be conceptualized in a new portfolio site of some sort), I'm blogging this out for my personal "archival" reasons;)

p.s.: Here's a few other usage samples found on the net.

A selection of credited image usages

It's always nice to find my images "in action". This time the buyer was kind enough to pay for the image and credit me too. All my thanks go to this Norwegian newspaper and of course to Bojana;)

Here's the link if someone's interested: Aftenposten.no.

Apart from studying it does seem she tends to give away money as well, doesn't she? This image was used on a French website in a financial article and bought on iStockphoto.

Here's another one coming in from Austria.

Two "Images of the day" on Crestock

Browsing through the net I noticed two of my images being selected as Images of the day on Crestock, a microstock agency known for having "peculiar" inspection tastes. Thanks to Judge Ross for honoring my work this way.

Here's the two of them with citations from the judge's review:

"What's so great with this image is that both the grass and sky looks like could have been real, but it's been put together intentionally in a way that makes it look unreal, resulting in a quite unique image, that is very easy on the eyes with it's relaxed colours and simplicity." (Link)

"There isn't a whole lot of thematic content in this image, at least not that I can detect. But with such a wonderful mix of darkness and light and with the strange swirls on the planets surface, that doesn't matter the least, it simply looks beautiful!" (Link)
